How to Reach - Shirdi to Bangalore

Bangalore, most vibrant metropolitan city, is situated in the state of Karnataka in the southern part of India. Often called by the name the ‘Pensioner’s Paradise’ as the climate of the city is very mild all around the year. This inspires a lot of multinational and other investors to start their new businesses in this metropolitan city. Bangalore is officially called Bengaluru. Bangalore has a wonderful transportation system.

Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation buses (BMTC) are easily available in the city. Metro, a rapid transit system, has started its services here.

Bangalore offers a lot of parks, palaces, gardens and temples. Ulsoor Lake is a beautiful lake in Bangalore to relax and for boat riding. The Bangalore Palace, built in 1887, was the residence of the rulers of the city. Lal Bagh is a famous botanical garden established under the rule of Tipu Sultan. This garden holds a huge collection of tropical plants and is a popular hub to students and tourists. 16th century Bull Temple in Bangalore is very popular. Bangalore is home to a lot of malls, pubs, cinema halls and other modern facilities.

Bangalore offer great delight to shopaholics and the main shopping centers in Bangalore are Commercial Street and M. G. Road from where one can buy tribal jewelry, silk, dress material, aromatic sandalwood and Mysore sarees. 

Shirdi, a pilgrim centre situated in the district of Ahmednagar in the state of Maharashtra, is a busiest town in the state. Shirdi was the home of the famous 20th century saint, Sai Baba. He entered in the village at the age of 16 and lived here for many years. Sai Baba is believed to a manifestation of Lord Shiva. This spiritual city refreshes and rejuvenates our mind and body. Devotees throng here for the darshan at the Samadhi Mandir where the mortal remains of Sai Baba were interred. A masjid is also found nearby where Sai Baba spent most of his time.

The city of shirdi does not have an airport and the nearest airport is Mumbai that connects to Bangalore. 

Train is the best option to cover this distance. Frequent trains are available from Shirdi to the three stations of Bangalore namely Bangalore city Junction, Bangalore Cantonment and Yeshvantpur Junction. But these are on some particular days. Yesvantpur Garibrath connects Shirdi to Bangalore. Several trains connect Manmad, which is the other nearby station to Bangalore. Adi Sbc Express and Karnataka Express connect Bangalore with Manmad.

The distance from Shirdi to Bangalore is 1021 km by road. It takes around 15 hours to reach Bangalore from Shirdi by your own vehicle.

Bangalore offers 572 hotels range from cheap to high end luxury. Some packages provide ticket booking, accommodation, food and sightseeing arrangement.
